Maria Panagi is a dedicated Dance Movement Therapist (DMT) who brings together her extensive dance training and therapeutic expertise to support individuals through embodied healing practices. In 2020 Maria earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of Cyprus, providing her with a strong foundation in human development, mental health, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. She then continued her studies with a Master's degree in Dance Movement Therapy at the SRH University of Heidelberg, in Germany, where she deepened her understanding of the therapeutic applications of movement and the body-mind connection.
Throughout her career, Maria has engaged in diverse professional experiences that inform her therapeutic practice. She has conducted research on spatial awareness for dancers, as well as the effectiveness of DMT in psychiatric and psychosomatic patients. As a dance teacher, she has shared her passion for movement with students of varying ages and abilities, while also leading DMT workshops that introduce participants to the healing dimensions of creative movement.
Currently, Maria works privately with clients of all ages, individually and in groups, offering personalized DMT sessions that address emotional, psychological, and physical wellbeing. In addition to her therapeutic work, Maria is serving as Operations Manager for the NGO Voice for Autism supporting adults on the autism spectrum in a supported living facility. Maria's multifaceted experience, spanning dance, therapy, education, and community support, reflects her commitment to using movement as a powerful tool for transformation, self-expression, and connection. At Younique Arts Complex, Maria offers DMT sessions for both children and adults, creating a safe and nurturing space where individuals can explore emotions, build resilience, enhance body awareness, and discover new ways of expressing themselves through the healing power of movement.



Our last guest teacher for 2025 — Artemis Kustin We’re closing the year with someone truly inspiring! Artemis Kustin is a versatile and dedicated dancer, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance from the University of Nicosia. She completed a 7-month intensive professional training program in Los Angeles, earning the Millennium Dance Complex Certificate. Throughout her time in LA and Cyprus, Artemis has participated in multiple dance projects and performances, continually expanding her artistic experience. She has also attended numerous international workshops and dance camps, training with some of the industry’s leading choreographers and artists. Her diverse background, passion, and commitment to continuous growth have shaped her into a well-rounded performer and inspiring dance educator. We couldn’t think of a better way to end this year’s guest teacher series!
We’re so excited to announce that Veronika Gopenko will be joining YoUnique Arts Complex this month to teach a special High Heels class! Veronika is the founder of the WOW WOMEN PROJECT and a choreographer at City of Dreams Mediterranean Casino here in Cyprus. With 18 years of teaching experience, over 5,000 students in Russia and Cyprus, and more than 2,000 professional performances across the globe — her artistry and expertise are truly inspiring. She has choreographed 100+ shows, organized 60+ dance events, and contributed her vision to massive international productions including: Sochi 2014 Olympic & Paralympic Games (Opening & Closing Ceremonies) FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar (Closing Ceremony) We can’t wait to welcome her to our studio and give our dancers the chance to learn from one of the best!


A truly versatile dancer, Angeliki has been training in a variety of styles since a young age. She graduated from D.A.F (Dance Arts Faculty) in Rome, where she continued to develop her craft, training and working with some of the best teachers and choreographers in the industry. During her time in Italy, she earned a place in Martina Toderi’s Hip Hop team ‘360theshow’, performing across the country and showcasing her talent on major stages. Now back in Cyprus, Angeliki is sharing her passion for dance both as a performer and as a teacher — inspiring the next generation through her artistry.

Graduate of Laine Theatre Arts (Musical Theatre Diploma) & Portsmouth University (BA Dance) Performer & Choreographer with credits including: – Wizard of Oz (London) – Disneyland Paris (Paris) – Heritage: The Journey to Africa (London) – Dance Amore (London) – Strictly Cabaret (UK) – YPP Showcase As a teacher at Laine Theatre Arts, Konstantinos has inspired dancers at every level — and now he’s here to share his artistry with YOU! His passion? Creating a safe space where every performer can shine and embrace their individuality.
