Anastasia Anaxagorou
Founder & Dance Instructor
Anastasia Anaxagorou, the founder of YoUnique Arts Complex, is a professional dancer, choreographer, and musical theatre performer whose passion for the arts began at the young age of four. In 2017, she pursued her dream by moving to London to study Dance and Musical Theatre at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts. She graduated in 2020, earning a Level 6 Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre from Trinity College London, alongside an ISTD Teaching Diploma (DDE) in Modern Theatre with honors.
Upon returning to Cyprus, Anastasia quickly established herself in the local performing arts scene. She has worked extensively as a dance teacher while simultaneously building a dynamic career as a professional dancer. Her credits include performances at major events such as the Super Music Awards and the Cyprus Tourism Awards. She has collaborated with top artists like Giorgos Sabanis, Giorgos Kakosaios, Giorgos Tsalikis, Kianna, Kings, Ria Ellinidou, Morfoula Iakovidou, and Antonis Remos.
From 2020 to 2023, Anastasia was the choreographer for Doros Kyriakides’ children’s theatrical productions, showcasing her creative versatility. She also starred as a leading character in the 2023 musical play The Magic Key by Christoforos Christoforou and was part of the professional ensemble cast in the 2025 production of Notre Dame, directed by Antigoni Tasouri.
Currently, Anastasia continues to perform professionally as a dancer at City of Dreams Mediterranean, bringing gratitude and genuine love for performing to every stage. Specializing in Commercial, Contemporary, Heels, Jazz, and Musical Theatre, she is passionate about inspiring the next generation of performers through her work at YoUnique Arts Complex.

Maria Panayi
Dance Movement Therapy
Maria Panagi is a dedicated Dance Movement Therapist (DMT) who brings together her extensive dance training and therapeutic expertise to support individuals through embodied healing practices. In 2020 Maria earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of Cyprus, providing her with a strong foundation in human development, mental health, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. She then continued her studies with a Master's degree in Dance Movement Therapy at the SRH University of Heidelberg, in Germany, where she deepened her understanding of the therapeutic applications of movement and the body-mind connection.
Throughout her career, Maria has engaged in diverse professional experiences that inform her therapeutic practice. She has conducted research on spatial awareness for dancers, as well as the effectiveness of DMT in psychiatric and psychosomatic patients. As a dance teacher, she has shared her passion for movement with students of varying ages and abilities, while also leading DMT workshops that introduce participants to the healing dimensions of creative movement.
Currently, Maria works privately with clients of all ages, individually and in groups, offering personalized DMT sessions that address emotional, psychological, and physical wellbeing. In addition to her therapeutic work, Maria is serving as Operations Manager for the NGO Voice for Autism supporting adults on the autism spectrum in a supported living facility. Maria's multifaceted experience, spanning dance, therapy, education, and community support, reflects her commitment to using movement as a powerful tool for transformation, self-expression, and connection. At Younique Arts Complex, Maria offers DMT sessions for both children and adults, creating a safe and nurturing space where individuals can explore emotions, build resilience, enhance body awareness, and discover new ways of expressing themselves through the healing power of movement.

Anastasia Hadjigeorgiou
Musical Theatre
Anastasia Hadjigeorgiou trained in Musical Theatre and Teaching at Laine Theatre Arts in the United Kingdom, Performing Arts at Middlesex University in London, Acting at The Actors Temple in London, Drama Therapy at the Opera Conservatory of Athens, and Dance Movement Therapy at the Hellenic British College.
She has worked professionally as a performer at Disneyland Paris, as well as in numerous musicals and theatre productions across Europe and Cyprus. Her performance experience also includes television series and short films.
Anastasia has extensive teaching experience in Dance, Musical Theatre, Acting, and Vocal Coaching. She also specialises in audition preparation, mentoring and guiding students who wish to gain admission to professional Musical Theatre colleges and universities abroad, helping them build the skills, confidence, and performance quality required for successful auditions.
She is passionate about inspiring performers of all ages to develop their creativity, technique, confidence, and love for the performing arts.

Maria Cooper
Cheerleading Coach
Maria Cooper is a UK-based dancer, choreographer, and educator, holding a BA (Hons) in Dance from De Montfort University. She has trained and worked professionally in London for over a decade, continually developing her skills through leading dance studios and intensive professional training programmes across the UK.
Throughout her career, Maria has worked extensively with the Royal Academy of Dance as part of the Step Into Dance programme, where she has taught and mentored more than 5,000 students across 50+ schools. She has choreographed over 200 performances, showcased at prestigious venues including Sadler’s Wells, the Southbank Centre, and the Royal Albert Hall.
Her professional experience also includes performances at international festivals, major sporting events, music videos, and a variety of live productions.
As an educator, Maria is passionate about nurturing the next generation of performers. Her classes focus on developing strong technical foundations, artistic expression, confidence, discipline, and self-belief, creating a supportive environment where every dancer can thrive both personally and artistically.
At YoUnique Arts Complex, Maria will be teaching and coaching our Cheerleading Crew alongside the school’s owner and Artistic Director, Anastasia Anaxagorou. Together, they will provide high-level training, inspiring young athletes and performers to develop outstanding technique, teamwork, performance skills, and competitive excellence in a positive and motivating environment.

Sofia Anaxagorou
Music Instructor
Sofia Anaxagorou has been the owner of Sofia’s Music Center for the past 10 years. With more than 30 years of experience in music education, she has dedicated her professional career to teaching piano and music theory, providing high-quality musical education to students of all ages.She holds a Piano Diploma, a Music Theory Diploma, and Solfège from the Hellenic Conservatory (Elliniko Odeio).
In addition, she has earned the internationally recognized ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Practical and ABRSM Grade 5 Theory of Music qualifications. As part of her continuous musical development, she has completed studies in Harmony, Organology, Musical Form and Analysis, and Music History. She also studied Classical Guitar up to the Higher School level, broadening both her musical knowledge and artistic perspective. Driven by her passion for music and her dedication to teaching, Sofia’s mission is to inspire and guide every student in developing their musical abilities while fostering creativity, confidence, and artistic expression.
